Photo access and processing
Monocle uses photos you permit it to access to compare similar photos, display previews, measure data size, and help you organize them. You can change or revoke access in iOS Settings. Limited access restricts the app to photos you allow.
Automatic scans use locally available photos. If you enable iCloud preview downloads, larger previews may be downloaded through Apple's iCloud services.
Information stored on your device
Keep selections, reviewed-group history, app settings, cleanup counts, and measured photo sizes are stored on your device. Temporary analysis information also stays on the device. The developer does not collect this information through a custom server.
Deleting photos
Monocle does not automatically delete photos without your confirmation. Authorized deletion follows Photos and iCloud Photos synchronization and recovery behavior. Check Recently Deleted in Photos for recovery options.
Purchases
Apple's App Store handles Pro purchases and restoration. Monocle verifies purchase entitlements. The developer does not receive payment card details or collect purchase history through a custom server. Apple's processing is governed by its policies and terms.
